Suitable for total beginners or more experienced painters, this course will run at the Badibidu Studio from 9:30-2:30 on Thursday 13th July 2023.

A range of watercolour techniques will be covered, including wet on wet, wet on dry, leaf and petal shapes, the use of masking fluid, textures and some mixed media options to make the project a really special individual piece. All students will be encouraged to focus on the idea of antiperfection, trying new things and enjoying the process as much as the outcome.

In addition, students will learn to stretch watercolour paper over a frame, and be shown a variety of options for finishing the piece including spray fixative and how you can wax a watercolour to protect it. 

This is a special catered event to celebrate the beginning of Summer, so get ready for an amazing shared Bombay lunch by Sheffield's own Bake Bake Bake. It will include sandwiches, pakoras, samosas and dip.

Price includes all materials, tea and coffee, and the special Bombay style lunch. Please let me know any dietary requirements in advance.
