Watercolour Art Classes - Full Day (Peak District)
Watercolour Art Classes - Full Day (Peak District)
-- NEW DATES COMING SOON --
Join my watercolour art classes at the Badibidu Home and Studio by Ladybower reservoir in the Peak District. These classes run from 10am - 2.30pm. Please arrive from 9:45am for hot drinks.
Suitable for total beginners or more experienced painters.
A range of watercolour techniques will be covered, including wet on wet, wet on dry, brush shapes, creating texture and some mixed media options to make the projects really special. All students will be encouraged to focus on the idea of antiperfection, trying new things and enjoying the process as much as the outcome.
In addition, students will learn to stretch watercolour paper over a frame, and be shown a variety of options for finishing and protecting the piece.
Price includes all materials and refreshments (arrival tea and coffee, biscuits for elevenses and delicious vegetarian lunch). These events are catered by the wonderful Bake Bake Bake who will provide a spectacular Bombay Brunch, or a similarly excellent Sheffield caterer.
**All special dietary requirements should be sent to me when booking and I’ll message you to confirm it’s all sorted!**

How does it work?
All events will focus on antiperfection, relaxation and learning watercolour techniques. Each workshop and virtual session will have a slightly different subject matter covered and in private sessions students can work on projects of their own choosing if they would like to.
