Watercolour Art Classes - Half Day (Peak District)
Watercolour Art Classes - Half Day (Peak District)
Join our half day watercolour art classes in the Peak District! This adults group session takes place at the Badibidu Home and Studio in lady Bower (near Sheffield) from 9.30am - 12.30pm.
Suitable for total beginners or more experienced painters. We will paint an antiperfection artwork which will change each season:
November 15th 2024: A wintery session painting Christmas cards to take away with you.
February 14th 2025: Come with friends or solo, buy yourself or someone else a ticket to celebrate the coming of Spring. We’ll be painting abstract floral hearts and stars!
May 16th 2025: Beginners landscapes. Nothing scary, just lots of play and covering lots of tips and tricks for painting trees, water, creative washes and a variety of ways to create landscapes.
A range of watercolour techniques will be covered, including wet on wet, wet on dry, brush shapes, creating texture and some mixed media options to make the projects really special. All students will be encouraged to focus on the idea of antiperfection, trying new things and enjoying the process as much as the outcome.
Price includes all materials and refreshments (arrival drinks, and tea/coffee with biscuits for elevenses).

Had an amazing morning being guided through ‘anti-perfection’ by Cat! Finding time to be creative is so important and this workshop was a great space to explore watercolours.
