This gouache and watercolour illustration was painted specifically for my original story to sit on. The closer you look the more details you’ll see, from the whale, shoals of fish and mantaray, to the rocks, glowing sun and ripples in the water.

The beautiful boat is dedicated to my gorgeous family who I adore. Life isn’t always easy as a parent but for some families it’s harder. Remember your boat doesn’t have to look like other boats or even be very good at floating some of the time. Doesn’t mean it’s not a beautiful boat.

How it's made

My paintings are created in layers of watercolour, gouache and ink. High-quality paints and 300gsm acid-free paper ensure the colours are vibrant and my experienced print provider has selected the best item to reproduce this on so that the colours are matched closely to the original. Please note that some colours may look different on varying computer screens compared to natural light.

Packaging

Cards, prints and notebooks will be sent wrapped in tissue paper inside a hardback envelope.

I will re-use packaging if it is still in good condition and I would ask all my customers to re-use their packaging if possible.
