This is best suited to people who have done a little bit of painting before and are comfortable creating layers of paint. It's still antiperfection, relaxed, and fun.

Mice is a tutorial that covers mouse body shapes, textures, and bright eyes, and helps break the ice with trying to paint animals. It can feel daunting trying something new! But keep antiperfection in mind, and give it a try, and you’ll pick up more and more tips to create cute little mice every time you practice. Unlike some tutorials out there I talk you through every part of this process, and give you the 'whys' as well as how to fix when things don't go to plan.

A great mindfulness practice and way of unwinding on your own or with family/friends.

This is a *pre-recorded* virtual session, based on the popular watercolour zoom session which runs live every week with an absolutely lovely gang of attendees. These pre-recorded sessions are approximately 30 minutes long, but you can re-watch them and hopefully they will set you off full of inspiration for as long painting as you need.

How it's made

My paintings are created in layers of watercolour, gouache and ink. High-quality paints and 300gsm acid-free paper ensure the colours are vibrant and my experienced print provider has selected the best high gsm paper to reproduce this on so that the colours are matched closely to the original. Please note that some colours may look different on varying computer screens compared to natural light.
