Suitable for total beginners or more experienced painters.

In this tutorial the focus is using enough water when painting. In addition, you will create a set of six colourful Monstera / Swiss Cheese Plant leaves whilst learning to break down the shape of a leaf to make it easier to sketch, and relax so you can really enjoy the process of dropping pigments into water. In a follow up tutorial we will use your favourite leaf from this session to paint a full plant with beautiful terracotta pot.

A great mindfulness practice and way of unwinding on your own or with family/friends.

This is a *pre-recorded* virtual session, based on the popular watercolour zoom session which runs live every week with an absolutely lovely gang of attendees. These pre-recorded sessions are approximately 30 minutes long, but you can re-watch them and hopefully they will set you off full of inspiration for as long painting as you need.

PLEASE NOTE:

This recording is for personal use only. If you wish to use in a corporate or educational setting you will need a corporate license, please contact me directly at:

How it's made

My paintings are created in layers of watercolour, gouache and ink. High-quality paints and 300gsm acid-free paper ensure the colours are vibrant and my experienced print provider has selected the best high gsm paper to reproduce this on so that the colours are matched closely to the original. Please note that some colours may look different on varying computer screens compared to natural light.
