This is an anytime tutorial, no extra brain power required, just the ability to spend time and leave it to dry frequently between layers - perfect for beginners/intermediates or those looking for a mindful, relaxing watercolour session.

Negative space leaves takes a technique you see frequently in tutorials (called negative space painting or reverse watercolour), and gives a more intricate tutorial, but it's no harder and it is both fun and relaxing. A win win for a gorgeous finished item and a relaxed session. Just plan what you can do when it's drying - nap, cup of tea, or a bit of cooking?

This is a *pre-recorded* virtual session, based on the popular watercolour zoom session which runs live every week with an absolutely lovely gang of attendees. These pre-recorded sessions are approximately 30 minutes long, but you can re-watch them and hopefully they will set you off full of inspiration for as long painting as you need.
