Suitable for total beginners or refreshing old skills.

A playful title and one that kids will gravitate to, but absolutely full of information at all levels to play with textures, different techniques and more than anything to make sure your perspective is right. This will mean you don’t end up with parts of your painting completely out of proportion to everything else, and help you create a feeling of depth and distance. After running through the principles in penguin form, we run through a quick exercise to see how the skills transfer to a more traditional watercolour landscape!

A great mindfulness practice and way of unwinding on your own or with family/friends.

10% brain power required - perfect for when you want a gentle tutorial that lets you try out your watercolour skills.

This is a *pre-recorded* virtual session, based on the popular watercolour zoom session which runs live every week with an absolutely lovely gang of attendees. These pre-recorded sessions are approximately 30 minutes long, but you can re-watch them and hopefully they will set you off full of inspiration for as long painting as you need.

PLEASE NOTE:

This recording is for personal use only. If you wish to use in a corporate or educational setting you will need a corporate license, please contact me directly at:

My paintings are created in layers of watercolour, gouache and ink. High-quality paints and 300gsm acid-free paper ensure the colours are vibrant and my experienced print provider has selected the best high gsm paper to reproduce this on so that the colours are matched closely to the original. Please note that some colours may look different on varying computer screens compared to natural light.

A download link to your tutorial will be sent via email
