Still Life Flowers Tutorial (Pre-Recorded)
Still Life Flowers Tutorial (Pre-Recorded)
Best suited for those who have used their paints a few times before and fancy stretching their wings! But all broken down into simple language and steps so if you fancy it, give it a try :)
I love antiperfection and painting abstract flowers from my imagination but sometimes you might fancy trying to paint still life and I 100% recommend it as it will get you learning lots of new skills. Beware, it can bring out the perfectionist in us! But with lots of reminders to take it gently and as part of the learning journey it can be fun and relaxing. In this tutorial I walk you through how to begin to paint real flowers. Also it's a great excuse to buy yourself a bunch of flowers.
This is a *pre-recorded* virtual session, based on the popular watercolour zoom session which runs live every week with an absolutely lovely gang of attendees. These pre-recorded sessions are approximately 30 minutes long, but you can re-watch them and hopefully they will set you off full of inspiration for as long painting as you need.

My paintings are created in layers of watercolour, gouache and ink. High-quality paints and 300gsm acid-free paper ensure the colours are vibrant and my experienced print provider has selected the best high gsm paper to reproduce this on so that the colours are matched closely to the original. Please note that some colours may look different on varying computer screens compared to natural light.
